WILL PATTON

Date de naissance : 14 juin 1954

Will Patton est un acteur créatif et polyvalent dont la qualité digne d'un caméléon lui permet de jouer une grande diversité de rôles. Il a suivi des cours à la North Carolina School of the Arts et a également étudié avec Lee Strasberg au Actors Studio ainsi qu'avec Joseph Chaikin au Open Theatre à New York.

Lorsque Patton vivait à New York, ses interprétations au théâtre lui ont valu une liste impressionnante de récompenses. Deux Obie Awards lui ont été décernés pour ses prestations dans What Did He See? au Public Theatre et dans Fool For Love de Sam Shepard au Circle Rep. Ses autres apparitions théâtrales incluent ourists and Refugees #2, pour laquelle il a partagé un Obie pour la meilleure distribution, et un rôle principal dans A Lie of the Mind de Sam Shepard. Au total, Patton est apparu dans plus de 40 pièces qui ont eu lieu près de Broadway.

Quand Patton a débuté au cinéma, les critiques ont aussi fait des éloges sur ses prestations dans plusieurs grands succès du festival du film comme The Paint Job, In the Soup, Midnight Edition et Toll Booth.

Il a impressionné le public du grand écran avec ses interprétations allant de l'adjoint très zélé d'un représentant du Congrès dans No Way Out à l'homme sensible et charmant dans The Rapture. Sur son CV figurent également les films Copycat, Fled, The Spitfire Grill, Inventing the Abbotts, The Postman, Armageddon et Entrapment.
