Synopsis

For Ariane Felder, a 40-year-old judge at the Court of Paris, her work is her life. Without children or a husband, she has worked hard at her career and continues to climb the ladder of success, to her complete satisfaction. But her world falls apart the day she discovers she is five months pregnant. Immaculate conception?

Her investigation takes her back to a New Year's Eve party where she got drunk and left, with no memory of what happened. Surveillance cameras show her that she crossed paths with Bob Nolan, a small time criminal who has just been arrested again, this time for assault. Bob escapes from prison and takes refuge with Ariane, hoping that she’ll help prove his innocence.
