Résumé:

Laura, a stripper in Marseilles, meets Marco. He tells her that he’s fallen for her and offers to take her away to enjoy a luxurious life in a mansion near Nice. Just as she’s about to leave her old life behind and go with him, Laura becomes involved in a car accident. In critical condition and in a coma in the hospital, she undergoes a long convalescence and multiple operations, before waking up to find she is scarred all over and deaf. But Marco is there to greet her. They live together in perfect happiness for six years with their son, Jeannot, until one day Laura discovers troubling facts about her companion’s past.
