Synopsis

Juliette, her husband and their children have recently moved into a posh suburb not far from Paris. As the Principal at a school in the region, the choice was natural for him, but not for Juliet. She gives reading workshops at a vocational school while waiting to get an editing position. On a beautiful spring day, while she’s waiting to hear if she’s gotten a job interview in Paris, Juliet bumps into Betty, an old friend from school. She suggests that Betty and her husband, as well as another couple, have dinner at her place that night.

Juliet also comes across Marianne, who’s pregnant and about to give birth, and reckless Ines. The disappearance of a little girl not far from where they live shakes up the domestic lives of these women.
