Synopsis

Founded in 1915, Les Cercles de fermières du Québec had nearly eighty thousand members at the height of their popularity. This movement, founded by farming women in Quebec, has allowed women living in rural areas to share their craft and culinary knowledge while improving their lives by sharing. Backstage at the annual conference, which brings together nearly a thousand women from more than six hundred municipalities, the filmmaker gives us a portrait of four of the members of the association.
