Résumé:

The story of French singer Serge Gainsbourg, from his time as a young Jewish boy living in Nazi-occupied Paris, to the man who became a poet, composer and world-famous singer. The film explores his artistic career, the young man's love for painting and his avant-garde music, which has been a true icon of French culture. Also portrayed is the complexity of his adult life through his tumultuous love affairs.
