Résumé:
Amiable superstar team leader Larry Crowne (Tom Hanks) has worked at a big-box company since his time in the Navy. When the company decides to downsize and Larry is let go, he finds himself with a lot of free time, and is inspired to go back to college.
He meets a colorful array of outcasts and also-rans, trying to build better futures for themselves. Larry's life takes an unexpected turn when he develops a crush on his teacher Mercedes Tainot (Julia Roberts) in a public speaking class. Although Mercedes is married, she's lost her connection with her husband. Larry finds that just when he thought his life had reached a dead end, he has hope for the future.
