Synopsis
Akiko, a young and naive student who moonlights as an escort in Tokyo, goes to meet a new client, the elderly Takashi Watanabe, a writer and translator, at his home. He prepares her dinner but the exhausted girl soon falls asleep. The next morning, the two meet Akiko’s jealous boyfriend, who assumes Takashi is Akiko’s grandfather. Later in the day, when Takashi receives a call from a tearful Akiko, he realizes the girl needs a protector and he tries to help her.
