Résumé:

Alice Malenfant, 37, devout feminist and star reporter for a daily Montreal newspaper, has shared her life with Louis Saint-Amand, a radio host, for the past couple of years. Afraid of becoming pregnant, she takes multiple pregnancy tests but finally, what she has feared the most, ends up happening. After considering abortion, she decides to keep the child, much to Louis's relief and happiness. Fearful of losing her position at the paper, Alice tries to keep her pregnancy quiet, especially since a young, ambitious colleague is hoping to take her place.
