Résumé:
Twelve-year-old Maya (Shetty) and her 11-year-old cousin Sanjay live simple lives in their village in rural India, playing innocent pranks and going on small adventures in the nearby forest. But their fraternal love will be shattered when Sanjay fails to save Maya from her fate: as a girl becomes a woman, she is the victim of an ancient and brutal ritual that leaves her scarred for life.
