Résumé:

It was reported in the Harper’s magazine index that in the month of June, 1998, American air traffic controllers lost track of the altitude of either Air Force One or Air Four Two four times. It makes you think that if they can have probably two of the most important planes in the world go off their radar screens, what chance is there for the rest of us that air traffic controllers can keep us safe in the sky?

Having said that, this movie has little to do with presidential planes and everything to do with air traffic controllers. It’s sort of an ER set in the night shift of the Newark sector of New York’s Terminal Radar Approach Control (TRACON for short).

They help planes land, lose separation and have moments of panic while dating, mating and cracking wise.
