Résumé:

After a tragic plane accident that takes the lives of their spouses, an internal affairs cop Dutch Van Den Broeck (Harrison Ford) and republican politician Kay Chandler (Kristin Scott Thomas) find items in their loved ones possessions that belong to the other.

This leads them to the understanding that their other halves were having an affair. This act of fate throws two very different people together. They develop an extraordinary relationship, which forces them to confront the truth that threatens to destroy them and discover the strength to triumph over the deception that surrounds them.
