Résumé:

Chris Cole (Wahlberg) is dreaming of the stage, and his girlfriend (Aniston) believes he can do it. During the day he lives with his parents, and fixes photocopiers. But by night, he's the lead singer of Blood Pollution, Pennsylvania’s premiere Steel Dragon tribute band. Cole idolizes Bobby Beers, the lead singer of his favorite band, Steel Dragon, and dedicates his musical talents to imitating the heavy metal rock legend.

One night, the musicians of Blood Pollution boot Cole out, which devastates him. But his life is about to change when, with a single phone call, he replaces the lead singer of Steel Dragon, granting him instant stardom.
