Résumé:

After receiving a cryptic postcard from his brother, a wealthy businessman, Da Ming (Pu Cun Xin), believes his father has died. He leaves his high paying job for a time and heads north to the meager home of his father in Beijing.

Here he finds his father (Zhu Xu) alive and well. Although he still possesses a cold-hearted attitude toward his working-class background, his feelings will soon be thawed as he finds out that his father's bathhouse is about to be demolished for a shopping mall.
