Résumé:

Warner Lutz (JR Bourne) isn't sure how he got where he is, but he's not particularly happy to be there: mid-thirties, married, two kids, a fizzling career, a rental town house, a crappy car, and clothes that have seen better days. His latest job has landed him and his family in boom-town Calgary where everyone else seems to have more than Warner - and more is what Warner wants.

But it's not what he gets. Instead the probation period of Warner's job has just been extended. He's unjustly blamed for a financial oversight. His wife, Claire (Caroline Cave), is having more job success than he is. And their entire savings are going towards a house that they can't afford. In fact, there isn't one part of Warner's life that's going the way he'd planned. But are his disappointments and frustrations powerful enough to trigger murderous anger?

When Claire is viciously attacked and Warner emerges as the prime suspect, the answer might be yes. Now, as disbelief and distrust poison relations within the family, Warner struggles with the knowledge that he has become a man whom others could believe capable of committing such a crime.

Based on the novel by Fred Leebron.
