Tête de Turc

Résumé:

One night Bora, a teenager from a rough neighborhood, throws a Molotov cocktail, believing his target to be a police car. Realizing his mistake, he rushes to the car to try to save the unconscious driver, who turns out to be an emergency room surgeon. The media proclaims Bora, who is of Turkish origina, a hero, while some of his friends who have criminal records are wrongly arrested and interrogated by the police.

Before the accident the doctor was en route to the bedside of a very sick woman who, deprived of his help, has died. Mad with grief, the husband of the deceased considers suing the doctor, unaware that he's in a coma. Meanwhile, when it's announced that her son will be receiving a medal for his heroic deed, Bora's mother sees it as a golden opportunity to improve the lives of her family.
