Résumé:
David Locke (Jack Nicholson), a TV reporter, arrives on location in North Africa to report on guerrilla freedom fighters. At his hotel, he finds that a dead man in the room next to his. Locke switches identities with him to escape his own personal problems. He takes the man’s passport and belongings and leaves Africa to keep the dead man’s appointments, in the hopes that his new life and identity will bring him more happiness.
