CHRIS DIAMANTOPOULOS

Date of Birth: May 9, 1975

Born in Toronto, Ontario, Chris Diamantopoulos is of Greek descent. His first language is Greek and his childhood was spent living in both Greece and Canada. At the young age of nine, he started acting in television commercials, as well as doing musical theater to better demonstrate his abilities as a classically trained singer.

He played the role of Ethan Girard in the Broadway production of The Full Monty, which called for the actor to be completely naked in a scene. He also starred as Marius in Les Miserables.

The actor/comedian has guest starred in many TV series such as Charmed, The Sopranos, Nip/Tuck and Frasier. He also voiced a character for the animated TV show American Dad!.

In 2005 Chris portrayed Robin Williams in the TV movie Behind the Camera: The Unauthorized Story of 'Mork & Mindy' and in 2011, he played Frank Sinatra in the television miniseries The Kennedys.

In the Farrelly Brothers' The Three Stooges, he played the role of Moe, alongside actors Sean Hayes and fellow Canadian Will Sasso. He most recently starred in The Art of the Steal (2013).

Chris married actress Becki Newton, who is best known for her role on Ugly Betty, in 2005. The couple welcomed the birth of a baby boy in November 2010.
