CHANDLER CANTERBURY

Date of Birth: December 15, 1998

Houston-born Chandler Canterbury comes from a family of actors. His older brother, Colby, and younger sister, Shelby, are also actors. For his debut TV performance on an episode of Criminal Minds, he won a Young Artist Award. His feature film debut followed soon after when he was cast as a younger version of Brad Pitt's character in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008). He also played a lead role in After.Life (2009), a psychological thriller with Liam Neeson and Christina Ricci, and a role in the sci-fi thriller Knowing (2009) opposite Nicolas Cage and Rose Byrne. In Powder Blue (2009) he appeared with Forest Whitaker, then worked with Whitaker again in Universal's Repo Men (2010), also starring Jude Law. In David Anspaugh's Little Red Wagon (2012), he played Zach Bonner, a little boy who walked across American to raise money for less fortunate children.

Chandler's star continues to rise, having played Melanie Stryder's (Saoirse Ronan) younger brother Jamie in the movie adaptation of Twilight author Stephanie Meyer's best-selling novel The Host (2013). He stars in another film based on a novel—Standing Up (2013) alongside Val Kilmer and Radha Mitchell, and has a lead role in When Angels Sing (2013) with Harry Connick Jr. In his spare time, Chandler enjoys playing guitar and football.
