Mitchell Hope Biography:
Date of Birth: June 27, 1994
Mitchell Hope was born in Melbourne, Australia and had only done a couple of short films when he was cast as "Young Tim" in the 2014 Australian mini-series Never Tear Us Apart: The Untold Story of INXS.
After going through a period of not getting any work, he was about to tell his agent that he was quitting acting to go to university, when she asked him to audition for one last thing - a Disney Channel movie called Descendants.
He taped himself doing an audition and his agent sent it to Los Angeles. He was then asked to do a callback and after that, he found himself on a flight to California for a screen test.
Mitchell was cast as Prince Ben in the movie, alongside Disney Channel stars such as Dove Cameron of Liv & Maddie and Cameron Boyce from Jessie. The movie was filmed in Vancouver and Mitchell had the time of his life with his co-stars, including Booboo Stewart of Twilight fame.
Mitchell, who lived a few years in Oklahoma when his father was there on business, still makes his home in Australia. He enjoys playing harmless practical jokes on people and hanging at the beach with friends. He has a Rottweiler named Harvey.
