Ori Pfeffer

Date of Birth: July 28, 1975

Israeli actor Ori Pfeffer was born in Jerusalem, Israel. When he was eight, his father remarried to an American, and so he began visiting America at least once a year. He credits a safari trip to Kenya as having opened his heart and mind to different cultures.

Ori has appeared in several movies and on television, with brief stints in NYPD Blue, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and CSI: NY. His first big film role was in the Adam Sandler comedy, You Don’t Mess with the Zohan (2008). He continued acting in TV and had a recurring role as Moses in the drama series, The Island in 2008. Recently he’s appeared in several big films, including World War Z (2013), Hacksaw Ridge (2016) and The Hitman's Bodyguard (2017).

Ori is married to Yael Goldman and they have two daughters. This year he appears as Tre alongside Nicolas Cage in 211 (2018), the true story of one of the bloodiest bank heists in police history. ~Caitlyn Clancey
