Shawn Mendes Biography:

Shawn Peter Raul Mendes was born in Toronto but raised in Pickering, Ontario. He gained a following after he posted himself singing covers on the Vine app.

All four of his studio albums: Handwritten, Illuminate, Shawn Mendes and Wonder, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. He has over one billion streams on five of his songs on Spotify. He was nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 63rd Grammy Awards for his song "Señorita" with Camilla Cabello.

In 2020, Shawn released two Netflix originals, Shawn Mendes: Live In Concert and Shawn Mendes: In Wonder.

In November 2021, Shawn split from his longtime girlfriend and fellow musician Camilla Cabello. He currently lives in Toronto with his golden retriever, Tarzan.
