Eric Till Biography:
Date of Birth: 1929
British born television/film director Eric began plying his craft at the BBC, helming a number of series. By 1968 he released his first feature film entitled Hot Millions, a comedy starring Peter Ustinov.
Till emigrated to Canada in the 1970s where he directed such critically acclaimed "small" pictures as 1977's Bethune, in which Donald Sutherland was cast as a real-life physician/political activist.
During the next 20 years, Till continued to direct film and television for Canada, the U.S. and Britain.
He released quality work including such series as The Hitchhiker, Fraggle Rock and The Twilight Zone, as well as telefilms The Girl Next Door, Win Again!, Pit Poney, Small Gifts, Turning To Stone, and Glory Enough For All: The Discovery of Insulin. Till has also directed for the stage, including a production of Pygmalion for the Shaw Festival.
Till's work has garnered a number of Genie and Gemini nominations.
