Mark Rosman grew up in California and studied at UCLA for two years before going to New York University to study filmmaking. Rosman went on to write and/or direct more feature films and TV movies starring actors such as Kim Delaney, Jason Gedrick, Sean Young, Ben Cross and Daniel Baldwin.

Continuing with Disney Television, in 2000 he wrote and directed the TV movie Life-Size, starring Tyra Banks and Lindsay Lohan, and Model Behavior, starring Justin Timberlake. He directed episodes of Disney's hit sitcoms Lizzie McGuire, starring Hilary Duff, and Even Stevens before re-teaming with Duff for the Warner Bros. picture A Cinderella Story.

Rosman once again worked with Duff on his next picture, The Perfect Man, for Universal Pictures.

A longtime member of the Directors Guild of America and the Writers Guild of America, he has taught screenwriting, directing and film production at schools such as UCLA Extension and Columbia College Hollywood.
