A Syrian Family

Synopsis

Tonight, Samir, his wife Halima and their baby plan to leave war-torn Syria, looking to move somewhere where they’ll have a future with promise. But just as Samir walks out of the apartment building, the young father is hit by a sniper and left for dead in the parking lot.

Delhani, a young maid, witnesses the hit and informs her mistress, Oum Yazan, who makes her promise not to tell Halima, for fear that as she races to her husband’s side, she will suffer the same fate.
