Synopsis

A party girl in her thirties who’s devoid of maternal instinct, Diane spontaneously agrees to be a surrogate mother for her friend Thomas and his boyfriend, Jacques. Without a job or anything much to do other than to wait to give birth, she hangs around at her grandparents’ country house.

When she meets Fabrizio, an electrician hired to make repairs, she quickly falls for him. They begin a relationship, but she doesn’t tell him about her condition at first. When he finds out she’s expecting a child, but isn’t keeping it, tensions grow between Diane, Fabrizio and the future parents.
