Synopsis

Dirty John is an eight-part true crime anthology series based on the Los Angeles Times podcast of the same name. Debra Newell (Connie Britton) is a beautiful and successful woman living in Los Angeles with her two daughters Terra (Julia Garner) and Veronica (Juno Temple). When Debra meets handsome and charming doctor John Meehan (Eric Bana) on the internet, she falls in love.

But John is not who he seems and Debra is drawn deeper into his lies and sinister game of psychological manipulation.

The second season of Dirty John focuses on another true-crime story of love gone wrong. Socialite Betty Broderick (Amanda Peet) hits a homicidal boiling point during a bitter divorce from her unfaithful husband Dan (Christian Slater).
