Synopsis

In this series, host Kristen Bell, who began her career in musical theatre, reunites the casts of former high school musicals so that they can remount the stage show again, this time as adults, in the same roles they played years earlier.

Each cast gets the help from professional directors, choreographers and voice coaches. Along the way, the cast members learn what each of their friends has been through since they last saw them, rekindle old friendships and meet the challenges needed to perform again. The audience learns about the cast members and their touching—and at times, heartbreaking stories.

Some of the musicals remounted include Annie, Beauty and the Beast, Grease and The Sound of Music.
