Synopsis
Formed in October 2018, the yellow vest movement was severely repressed in France by President Emmanuel Macron’s government. Various citizens (demonstrators, historians, philosophers, police officers, etc.) wonder about the use of this violence by the State. Their discussions lead to a reflection that goes well beyond the borders of France, by addressing the future of freedom of expression in all democratic countries.
