Synopsis

Chicago baker Stacy De Novo (Vanessa Hudgens) isn't very spontaneous, but when her best friend Kevin (Nick Sagar) enters her in a Christmas baking competition in Belgravia and she's accepted, she decides to go, with Kevin as her second-in-command.

While preparing for the competition, she's surprised to run into Lady Margaret Delacourt (Vanessa Hudgens), Duchess of Montenaro. The Duchess is engaged to Prince Edward of Bulgravia (Sam Palladio), whom she's only met twice. Margaret sees an opportunity to get to live a normal life and get to know the people of Bulgravia, so she convinces Stacy to switch with her for two days, while Edward is on an official meeting out of the country. After Stacy agrees, Edward suddenly decides to stay home in order to get to know his fiancée before the wedding, which makes things somewhat awkward.
