Synopsis

The Ref Didn’t See It! is a documentary that celebrates the unsung heroes of professional wrestling in zebra stripes, the referees.

Although wrestling is a pantomime of violence, the movie pulls back the curtain to reveal the camaraderie, trust and skill behind the spectacle.

Directed by Sara Geidlinger of Bonn Park Media and featuring dozens of wrestling personalities from Waterloo Region and around the world, the film is a tender and funny look at a unique breed of performance artists.
