Synopsis

Maggie Cabbott (Rachelle Lefevre) flies to New Zealand from Canada to meet her husband, Tom Cabbott (Matt Whelan), who has gone on ahead to set up a natural salmon fishing business that will be beneficial for the local community of Pelorus. Maggie and Tom decided to start their business in New Zealand to get far away from the oppressive influence of Tom's family back in Canada.

But Maggie starts to notice strange things going on involving her husband, and when Tom disappears during an early morning kayak session, she learns unsettling facts about him. While the search continues, the townspeople give Maggie support and try to comfort her. She give back to the town and gains many friends, but the doubts that have come to light in regards to Tom bring long-buried wounds to the surface.

A co-production between South Pacific Pictures, Acorn Media Enterprises and Shaftesbury for Acorn TV and Sky TV, New Zealand and CBC, Canada.
