Synopsis

Mickey (Bill Skarsgård) and Jules (Maika Monroe) are lovers on the run, headed southbound for a fresh start in the Sunshine State after a successful gas station robbery. However, as they make their elated getaway, their car breaks down and they have no choice but to break into a nearby house, looking for a new set of wheels.

The house is owned by an older couple named George (Jeffrey Donovan) and Gloria (Kyra Sedgwick), who come across the two young robbers in their kitchen. Unfortunately, Mickey and Jules have already come across a little girl (Blake Baumgartner) chained up in the basement. They decide to rescue her, but as they reach for her, she bites Mickey, which catches the younger couple off guard -- long enough for George and Gloria to chain them up, as well.
