Synopsis
Beatrice, the wife of Boris Malinovsky, is suffering from a crippling depression. For the successful but arrogant Montreal businessman, this is an opportunity to take a break and go with her to their second home in the countryside. But Boris has a vagabond spirit.
He seeks an outlet with his mistress Helga and now his new attraction to Klara, the au pair taking care of Beatrice. A mysterious stranger, who appears in a clearing at night, opens Boris’ eyes to the fact that he’s caught in an existential trap, and that he has to take responsibility for his wife’s health.
Bad husband, bad father, bad son, Boris will soon face his judges.
