Synopsis

Through the eyes of actors auditioning to re-enact the events that led up to the murder of six-year-old American beauty queen, JonBenét Ramsey, Casting JonBenét shifts between speculation and a documentary that tells the facts as they are known to this date of the still unsolved death.

Over the course of 15 months, the filmmakers worked on creating this stylized exploration — a hybrid of fiction and non-fiction — reflects the events that led to the brutal crime.
