Synopsis
During wartime in Shanghai, aristocrat Mo Jietu (Cecilia Cheung) unexpectedly runs into her ex-boyfriend Xie Yifan (Dong-gun Jang). Bored with her extravagant lifestyle, she decides to play a game with him, fully knowing he is still in love with her.
The game is simple. Xie must seduce the innocent Du Fenyu (Zhang Ziyi) and then dump her. However, the game becomes dangerous when Xie begins to fall in love with Du and this twisted game of love, passion, and betrayal lead them all to shocking consequences.
