Synopsis

Frank and Nancy Teagarten (Alec Baldwin and Salma Hayek) are a middle-class couple who live in a beautiful Tudor-style home, with a shiny new Range Rover. They're having financial problems, but try to hide it from their daughter Rachel (Michelle Veintimilla), who's heading off for college.

After dropping her off, they scramble for ideas on how to meet their financial obligations. Heavily drinking throughout this entire process, they hold a house-wide yard sale in an effort to raise quick cash, but their plan doesn't go exactly as they'd hoped. Then then try to rent a neighbor's house out without his permission, which attracts a less-than-desirable and potentially dangerous new neighbor. The Teagartens, who've been trying to hide their money problems from their family and neighbors, soon realize they've made some very regrettable decisions.
