Synopsis
Filmed in black and white, the film tells the story of an aspiring dancer (Greta Gerwig) who moves to New York City. Though technically homeless, and not formally trained as a dancer, Frances dedicates herself completely to living her dreams.
While she struggles with career setbacks and money problems, she also learns about friendship and love.
