Lady Chatterley's Lover

Synopsis

In this D.H. Lawrence adaptation, Sir Clifford Chatterley (Ann Mitchell) returns home from war severely injured and impotent, causing tension in his marriage to Lady Constance Chatterley (Nicholas Clay).

Clifford gives his young wife permission to seek a lover from the upper classes, but Constance becomes ill from the strain of caring for her husband. A visiting nurse recommends fresh air for her recovery, which leads her into the arms of gamekeeper Oliver Mellors (Shane Briant).
