Loves of Carmen

Synopsis

Attracting men is almost second nature for sultry Spanish gypsy Carmen (Dolores del Río). Although she wastes her beauty working in a cigar factory by day, she makes up for it by night -- turning the heads of every man in Seville. But when Carmen aims her seductive charms at officer Don José (Don Alvarado), it sets the stage for tragedy.

Carmen eventually tires of him and takes another lover, bullfighter Escamillo (Victor McLaglen). Scorned, Don José embarks on a campaign to win his love back.
