Low Down

Synopsis

A look at the complex relationship between Amy-Jo Albany (Elle Fanning) and her jazz pianist father Joe (John Hawkes), a man torn between his musical ambition, his devotion to his teenage daughter, and his suffocating heroin addiction.

It follows the highs and lows of their relationship as well as her relationship with her mother Sheila Albany (Lena Headey) and grandmother (Glenn Close).

Based on the memoir by Amy-Jo Albany.
