Our Last Tango

Synopsis

A behind-the-scenes look at couple Juan Carlos Copes and María Nieves Rego, who are considered the Fred and Ginger of Argentinian tango. Over the course of the film, they reminisce about their complicated history of the past several decades.

Juan and Maria starred in the hit Broadway show Tango Argentino and other travelling performances, hoping to bring their country's signature dance to the masses. However, off stage, they had a tumultuous relationship, which is explored through interviews with the couple, now in their eighties, and with others.
