Synopsis

Out of Sight takes a close look at how our society treats adolescents suffering from mental illness.Through a series of gripping interviews with adolescents, adult survivors, parents, educators, and activists including To Write Love On Her Arms founder Jamie Tworkowski, Out of Sight explores why depression, self-harm, and other mental illnesses are so frequently swept under the rug.

It explores the ongoing conflicts within families that often accompany mental health disorders and the dangerous but very common consequences of willful denial and inaction.
