Synopsis

Angelica, 60, works as a hostess in a cabaret in Lorraine on the German border. She’s bitter because customers are increasingly difficult to attract. Although she still loves to party with her dancer girlfriends, when Michel, a customer who’s in love with her proposes marriage, she accepts. Angelica gets in contact with her four children, whom she didn’t raise.

Mario and Severine, who have remained close to their mother, are happy for her when she moves in with Michel. Samuel, who’s living the good life in Paris, and Cynthia, the baby of the family, get together with their siblings for the occasion. However, as the date of the ceremony approaches, the unrepentant party girl begins to be reluctant about settling down to a domestic life and calls into question her love for her fiancé.
