Synopsis

This film is loosely based on the autobiography of TV sitcom writer Jerry Stahl (Alf) who just happened to also have once been addicted to heroin. Stiller lost 30 pounds to play the dramatic role. His dieting technique: "I basically just stopped eating," says Stiller.
