Synopsis

A mentally challenged young man forms a warm friendship with a college intern who works at the state hospital where he resides in director John Swon's intimate, character-driven drama.

When young intern Denise (Sara Stevenson) discovers that Peter has a remarkable hidden talent as an artist, her attempts to fuel his creativity by providing the means for him to express himself are challenged by her destructive boyfriend.

As Denise attempts to move Peter out of the isolation of the hospital and help him realize his potential in the outside world, her personal relationships begin to crumble despite her most sincere efforts.
