Synopsis
In his first year in medicine, Benjamin, the son of a surgeon, befriends Antoine, a student from a more modest background who has twice failed his first year of medicine. Benjamin and Antoine study together in the highly competitive field, spending every moment they can on memorizing information for the end-of-term exam that will decide whether or not they can go on to the second year. When the results come in, Benjamin does something surprising.
