Synopsis
Rumours follows the seven leaders of the world's wealthiest liberal democracies at the annual G7 summit, led by Chancellor of Germany Hilda Orlmann (Cate Blanchett). She tries to keep the leaders focused on the matter at hand, but Canadian Prime Minister Maxime Laplace (Roy Dupuis) lets his emotions get carried away, which delays matters.
When they're finally settled and attempting to draft a provisional statement regarding a global crisis over a meal with wine, they realize their aides have disappeared and they're all alone in the middle of nowhere. They subsequently become lost in the woods and face increasing peril.
