Synopsis

Trish (Margaret Qualley), a young American journalist who was recently fired by her editor, is stranded in Nicaragua, possessing only the local currency, córdobas. She begins turning tricks for American dollars, which are much more valuable, so she can buy a plane ticket home.

She teams up with Daniel (Joe Alwyn) from England, who's suspected of shady business dealings involving oil. Together, they become entangled in a hazardous web of lies and intrigues, forcing them to flee the country by whatever means possible.
