Synopsis

Another SNL character gets onto the big screen. This time it's Mary Katherine Gallagher (Molly Shannon), a nerdy Catholic school girl who's cruelly mocked in both junior high and high school.

Mary is keen on winning the heart of the school's star quarterback, Sky Corrigan, and thinks winning a talent contest will do the trick.

But nothing is ever easy with Sky's girlfriend, (and Mary's arch nemesis) Evian around.
